The name of our Nif meeting hall has originated from the Kemalpaşa district. The previous name of this district, which is famous for its cherry, is Nif. It has Manisa on its north, Torbalı, and Bayındır on its south, Turgutlu on its east and Bornova and Buca districts on its west. Since Mustafa Kemal Pasha stayed in this locality on the night of 9 September 1922, its name was later changed into Kemalpaşa.
