Kemalpaşa

Kemalpaşa

The historical name of the Kemalpaşa district, “Nif,” means “bride” in Greek. This name comes from the district’s appearance, especially in spring, when cherry and fruit trees blossom, making it look like a bride with its year-round greenery. Kemalpaşa, known for its world-famous cherries and pine forests, produces the earliest cherries in the world.

Due to its strategic location, Kemalpaşa is at the heart of İzmir, Pınarbaşı, Işıkkent, and Turgutlu, the most important industrial centers of the Aegean region. With ongoing railway and junction projects, and the introduction of the Kemalpaşa Logistics Center, Kemalpaşa is set to contribute increasingly to Turkey’s commercial potential.

The İzmir Kemalpaşa Organized Industrial Zone, one of Turkey’s largest organized industrial zones, hosts over 500 domestic and international companies. With growing investment demand and the provision of nearly 30,000 jobs, it has played a pivotal role in the increased interest and preference for the region in recent years.
